Fresh from the Southern U.S. is a program dedicated to raising awareness about the quality and versatility of Southern U.S. produce. Representing 23 fresh fruits and vegetables from 15 soilrich Southeastern U.S. states and the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, Go South offers trade buyers, foodservice professionals and consumers themselves nutrientrich, fresh produce offerings yearround, outside of Canada’s local growing season. The Go South logo symbolizes produce excellence and is an indication of the pride and tender loving care that each of our Southern U.S. growers and shippers puts into supplying the finest and freshest produce possible.The Go South program is managed by the Southern United States Trade Association [SUSTA], a nonprofit agricultural export trade development association comprised of the Departments of Agriculture of the 15 southern states and the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico.
